Jason has been assisting clients navigate a wide variety of markets since 1996. He enjoys assisting clients reach life’s varied goals through the point of view of investments, portfolios and planning. Jason is a student of the market and economy. He does his best to apply the knowledge gathered to benefit his clients. Jason keeps up on fundamental, quantitative, and technical techniques. Behavioral investing is also a keen interest as it ties into daily interactions with clients. Whatever life’s journey of twists and turns, Jason will gladly help.
Jason's portfolio construction methods focus heavily on using quantitative and fundamentally driven techniques to identify investments with desirable traits for allocation to portfolios. Whether he is looking at individual stocks, ETF's, or mutual funds, Jason has the appropriate research tools and subscriptions to find, test, and place choices into portfolios with the goal of meeting client's objectives in a effective manner. In a world where investing with an advisor increasingly appears like a fast food value meal, Jason still believes in the value of doing the work necessary to implement portfolio solutions as unique as his clients and their needs. Clients also seem to appreciate when they are speaking with him, they are speaking to the designer and maintainer of their household's portfolios.
Jason is married to Cara and their blended family of six has four girls and two boys ranging in age from 4 to 27. He grew up in Elkhart, Indiana and Purdue University graduated him in 1991. He was a member of the Purdue Cycling team for three of his four years at Purdue and has kept a lifelong passion for cycling and observing the sport. In addition to cycling, he enjoys camping with the family, functional fitness, cooking, taking photos and writing. He and his family are members of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers, Indiana.
